Private Training Sessions

One size doesn’t fit all, and that’s especially true with training. Our private sessions are designed for families who want to work directly with a trainer in a focused, one-on-one setting. These aren’t just obedience classes. These are strategic, personalized lessons built around your goals and your dog’s behavior.

Sessions can happen in your home, at our Bentonville facility, or out in real-life settings like downtown sidewalks or public parks. We often begin with a consultation so we can evaluate your dog’s behavior, your lifestyle, and your environment. From there, we build a plan that fits your reality.

Private training works especially well for:

  • New dog and puppy owners who want a confident start
  • Dogs struggling with leash reactivity or overexcitement
  • Families navigating multi-dog dynamics
  • Dogs with anxiety in public spaces
  • Owners who want to improve communication, focus, and everyday obedience

Each session is hands-on, and we give you the tools you need to keep progress going between visits. You’ll learn not just what to do, but why it works. We want you to feel confident reading your dog’s body language, redirecting behaviors calmly, and building a language that’s all your own.

Board and Train

Our Board and Train program is designed for families who need more immersive support. Your dog comes to stay with us, either in our home or on our training property, where we provide daily hands-on training, structure, and real-world exposure.

This is ideal for:

  • Busy owners who want a solid foundation installed
  • Dogs needing a behavioral reset
  • Young dogs who struggle to focus or settle
  • Reactive or anxious dogs who need consistent leadership

Each stay includes:

  • Multiple structured training sessions per day
  • Crate training, leash work, recall, and place command
  • Neutral exposure to people, dogs, traffic, and new environments
  • Personalized follow-up sessions for the owner
  • Detailed hand-off and transition planning

This isn’t boot camp, it’s a lifestyle reset. Your dog will still be a dog, but they’ll come home with better habits, more focus, and a calmer way of navigating the world.

Behavior Modification

Behavior modification is for the dogs that go beyond “a little hyper.” We’re talking about deep-rooted fears, leash reactivity, aggression, separation anxiety, or those mystery behaviors that no amount of Googling has solved.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, frustrated, or even a little heartbroken about your dog’s behavior—this is where we step in.

What makes behavior modification different?

  • We start by getting to the root of the behavior, not just the surface symptoms
  • We focus on reducing stress and increasing clarity for your dog
  • We build new habits that replace fear-based or defensive responses
  • We work with you to make the changes stick

It’s not about punishment, it’s about understanding. And we don’t rush it. Every dog has their own timeline, and we respect that.

Puppy Foundations

Puppyhood is magical, and maddening. We help new puppy parents get through the chaos with clarity, confidence, and a whole lot of structure.

Our Puppy Foundations program includes:

  • Crate training, potty training, and household manners
  • Early socialization done safely and appropriately
  • Name recognition, leash introduction, and recall
  • Bite inhibition and gentle handling
  • Exposure to sounds, textures, and novelty

We believe in starting early, but wisely. Flooding a puppy with stimulation can do more harm than good. Our approach is gradual, positive, and designed to build resilient, confident dogs.

Whether you’ve got a brand-new 8-week-old pup or a “teenage” dog testing limits, we tailor each session to fit their developmental stage.

Sport & Farm Training

Some dogs need more than walks, they need purpose. Our 50-acre farm gives high-energy and working dogs a place to thrive.

This program includes:

  • Agility foundations
  • Dock diving and water work
  • Trail hiking and off-leash control
  • Long-line recalls and directional training
  • Herding behavior management
  • Confidence building on natural terrain

We train in the environment your dog was meant for, open fields, wooded trails, and controlled distractions. This isn’t about exhausting your dog. It’s about building impulse control through movement and giving driven dogs the work they crave.

What We Offer

We customize every plan to your dog’s drive level, body type, and temperament. Some of our most popular sport and rural-focused activities include:

Agility Foundations

Fun, fast-paced obstacles that build coordination, attention, and body awareness.

Confidence on Surfaces & Terrain

We use logs, ponds, gravel paths, sand, tall grass, and unstable surfaces to build a dog’s courage and spatial control.

Advanced Recall & Off-Leash Reliability

Using our vast open acreage and distractions, we teach your dog to come reliably, even when excited or mid-chase.

Dock Diving & Water Confidence

We introduce water-loving dogs to dock diving or swimming at their own pace, building strength and reducing fear.

Farm-Focused Impulse Control

Many herding and working breeds struggle with overstimulation. Our controlled exposure to livestock, wildlife scents, and moving machinery helps reduce over-arousal and builds calm decision-making.

Structured Pack Walks with Balanced Dogs

Helps reactive or over-social dogs learn how to exist peacefully in a working group of calm canines.

Directional Cues & Long-Line Work

Teaching your dog to work at a distance, follow directional cues (like “out” or “left”), and respond even when far from you.

Who Is This For?

Our Sport & Farm Training is ideal for:

  • Working breeds (Border Collies, Aussies, Belgian Malinois, etc.)
  • High-drive dogs with behavioral issues linked to boredom or frustration

  • Owners who want a stronger recall or off-leash control
  • Dogs preparing for dog sports or competitions
  • Dogs transitioning from city life to acreage or farm property
  • Energetic dogs needing safe outlets that go beyond daycare or dog parks

We also work with retired sport or service dogs who still want purpose, just at a slower pace.

Our 50-Acre Training Farm

Most trainers talk about distractions. We train in them.

Our private training farm includes:

  • Open pasture for recall and long-distance commands
  • Wooded trails for structured hiking and recall under cover
  • Fenced training fields for agility and leash work
  • Freshwater ponds for dock diving and water confidence
  • Safe livestock exposure from a distance for scent and herding work
  • On-leash intro zones for training self-control around wildlife and equipment

The space is massive, but controlled, and every session is guided by our experienced trainers to ensure progress and safety.

This environment allows dogs to experience the real world, without the chaos of public dog parks or uncontrolled group classes.

Balanced Training for High-Drive Dogs

These dogs are thinkers. They test, assess, and challenge, and that’s what we love about them. But high-drive dogs need:

  • Structure
  • Clear boundaries
  • Mental work as much as physical work
  • A handler who understands their needs

We blend praise, play, and accountability in a way that keeps your dog engaged without creating conflict or confusion. If your dog has “flunked” out of basic obedience elsewhere, they’re probably just misunderstood.

Beyond Sport: Life Skills That Stick

Sport and farm training isn’t just for the sake of sport. These sessions:

  • Improve recall
  • Deepen your bond through off-leash trust
  • Reduce frustration-related behaviors at home
  • Help your dog settle after intense activity
  • Teach patience and neutrality in exciting environments

We’re not just building an athlete, we’re creating a calm, capable partner you can rely on.

You Don’t Have to Do It Alone

It can be frustrating to feel like no one “gets” your dog, especially when they’re smart, driven, and misunderstood. At All Paws Training, we do get it. We know what it’s like to live with dogs who need more. And we know how rewarding it is when that energy gets channeled the right way.

We’ll give you the guidance and structure to make life better, for you and your dog.

Our Unique Training Environments

Our training farm sets us apart. With over 50 acres of fenced fields, water, trails, and exposure to real-life distractions, it’s the ideal place to practice off-leash recall, build confidence, and work on advanced focus in motion.
