Lin Williams

Senior trainer
Lin is Coolwag’s Senior Dog Trainer and leads all group classes. With over 20 years of experience, he is dedicated to helping dogs and their families better understand one another through clear communication and practical, real-world training. Lin discovered his passion for dog training after enrolling his own dogs in a basic training course. That experience led him to spend two years apprenticing under an animal behaviorist, building a strong foundation in canine behavior and learning theory. Raised on his grandfather’s farm, Lin was surrounded by animals from an early age. Some of his earliest memories are from time spent at his grandfather’s veterinary clinic, where his appreciation for animal care and behavior began. At home, Lin shares his life with three dogs: Roux Badly, an 11-year-old Irish Terrier; Elliott, a 10-year-old terrier mix; and the newest addition, Jimmy Carter, a chocolate Lab/Pit mix. Lin is also an AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Evaluator.
